A butterfly walk organised by the Hereford City Local Branch
Admirals are well known nautical species. And on land, we have probably all seen a Red Admiral butterfly, but have you seen a White Admiral? With its characteristic gliding flight and striking bands of white across its brown/black upper wing, it isn’t white at all. They are fairly rare but there have been sightings in Haugh Woods in 2020 and 2021. For a chance to catch sight of this stunning butterfly join Martyn Davies, local butterfly expert, for a guided walk in search of the White Admiral.
